Dufenhof Swissies

While the girls do all the hard work whelping & raising puppies, it's the boys who often steal the spotlight. Unfair, but true.

When I first started in Swissies I started with males. It wasn't by design, it just worked out that way. Maybe it was because the first Swissy I met, Circus, was such a wonderful example of what a male Swissy should be. Whatever the reason, while many breeders choose not to keep males, or not more than one at a time, I always seem to fall in love with the boy puppies. 

That is not to say I do not love my girls, because I do, but well... the boys always seem to find their way into my heart and home.

Sean and Garth were the inspiration for my kennel name, Dufenhof, and many of my current Swissies go back to Sean.
